U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Steve Chittanavong, a security forces Airman with the 118th Security Forces Squadron, Tennessee Air National Guard, is awarded the Diamond Sharp award by U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Edward Burtle, the 387th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron first sergeant, on Dec. 18, 2018 at an undisclosed location. Chittanavong won the award for his excellent work performance with the 387th ESFS.

Enable global delivery of kinetic and non-kinetic effects through multidisciplinary Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission execution, sustained by organic Mission Support and Medical personnel.  Additionally, provide capabilities and resources to support state and domestic emergency response and recovery operations.
