The 118th Airlift Wing Airmen of the Third Quarter Awardees were honored Dec. 4.
The winners were Master Sgt. Richard Goodwin, as Senior NCO of the quarter, 118th Civil Engineering Squadron; Staff Sgt. Garrett Travis, as NCO of the quarter, 118th Logistics Readiness Squadron; and Airman 1st Class Roger Livingston, as Airman of the quarter, 236th Intel Squadron.
"I am extremely appreciative of this award," said Travis, who was NCO of the year for the entire base in 2008. "My coworkers help me strive to be an excellent NCO."
"I am honored to receive this award, but all my efforts this quarter would not have been possible without my extraordinary and irreplaceable wingmen," said Livingston, whose accomplishments include Basic Training Honor Graduate, first place in the unit's Annual Field Training competition, and a participant in the annual 'Race for the Cure.'
Each awardee received a plaque and a certificate recognizing them for their outstanding achievement; and all will be competing for annual Airmen of the Year award that are scheduled to be made in the near future.
